One of the most sensitive questions in the sale of a printing or packaging company is when to share the news with stakeholders: the people who will be directly affected by the change of ownership. The answer usually is “no sooner than absolutely necessary” — ideally, often not until the moment when there is no longer any question that the transaction is going to close as planned.
